Just hold your hand and a friendly waiter will be there to assist you. Also, remember that it is one of the safest places in the country so you should not worry about leaving your children playing near by.<\/p>\n<p>Very close to Progreso is the Laguna Rosada where it is possible to observe flamingo colonies that live peacefully in its waters, here is an excellent\u00a0 opportunity for colourful photos.<\/p>\n<p>El Corchito is an ecological reserve 10 minutes from the port, ideal for observing its mangroves and swimming in its open cenotes at sea level. An interesting fact is that the rivers through which the boats tour are dyed brown due to contact with the mangrove.
